This took the whole page! This deserves more attention.
I’ll have to keep this post short. There’s nothing much to say so far unless I have to be nitty-gritty about the entire thing.
This is good shounen stuff. I can tell the direction this is going. Obviously, there will soon be a great, big battle. His dreams of being in the tower will either be shattered or achieved with disappointment of some abrupt event.
However, the chapters I missed were the chapters I wanted to see – the development of the story. The characters had their chances of being developed for “too long” (in the four chapters that could have been better), so they might as well take this time to show us the universe in UQ Holder. In fact, UQ Holder finally now makes sense! With UQ Holder found with the co-founder being the usual protagonist-like dreamy attitude of holding an organization which has members of only the immortal, this will make easy prequel money.
The latest chapter was fairly interesting introducing a strange character who resembles the comedic protagonist except that he’s a show-off. It lightens the atmosphere after the “mysterious” end in chapter fourteen.
