UQ Holder! 02 – The Only Striking Thing

It was unnecessary business to have them get to the thinking of “impossible dreams.” There was closure in chapter one about that, there’s no reason why it has to even dig dipper with another girl as the “star.”

I’m somehow disappointed that another forty pages, wasted. It may have been simple sneak peeks for event mentioned lasting for half a year, but there were other story possibilities ten times better than that.

Also, the relevance for the “age pill” in this chapter was ridiculously poor. Honestly, who cares, really? That she hid herself with the other kids? Or maybe it’s to mention about he could have his voice changed temporarily and he might be able to sing better?

Then again, the one thing that really striked me for the moral was “Live life as if you were to die tomorrow; learn as if you were to live forever.” Truly a great Mahatma Gandhi quote.

Rating: 3/5

Poor, overall.
