When the Beast Goes Mad
What this chapter told everyone was the fact that Reborn has his hidden intentions such that Kyoya’s “team” shouldn’t die out yet, which led to Dino’s help. It was really very vague, and I found it a bit antihero-like. Expounding more of his intentions would probably lead to something really good, but the atmosphere felt a bit dense – unusually dense, honestly. It must be just my mind making the tricks, but it is a bit bothering, for me, at least.
Dino continues to persuade Kyoya to stop fighting Xanxus because his level doesn’t match up to Xanxus’s at all. Even I can tell since he lives up to his reputation as the boss of Varia. To do it head-on was to prick Xanxus’s nerves. He went ahead and showed off his newly-attained power that really blows up like a nuclear laser. When he performed his second attack, its damage led to the destruction of the top part of the building. That was really one hell of an explosion, and it sure did piss Xanxus that much.
There isn’t really much to this episode except Reborn’s intentions, and it has become more and more interesting as this fight has seemingly started to start as the climax.

★★★☆☆ – There isn’t really much to be said. It’s a bit dragging and the pacing is slow, which is a bit normal in the Reborn! level of fighting arcs. Either way, it was a great cliffhanger for both the fight and the story. |
